This amendment answers questions submitted by vendors. The FAA, Western Service Area intends to award a contract to a qualified, responsive contractor to perform complete Janitorial Services. The FAA contemplates award of a Firm-Fixed Price contract. A tiered evaluation of offers will be used in source selection for this contract. The tiered order of precedence for considering offers is (from first to last): Tier 1 “ Certified 8(a) Business Tier 2 “ Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business Tier 3 “ All Other Small Business; Tier 4 “ Large Business 1. A determination of insufficient competition or unreasonable price will be made before the next tier is evaluated. 2. DETAILS FOR ATTENDING SITE VISIT: There is a one-time site visit scheduled on March 2, 2016 at 10:00a.m. Mountain Time at the FAA Aspen ATCT, Aspen, Colorado. FAA urges and expects offerors to inspect the site where the work will be performed. a. The meeting point for the site visit is: Aspen Air Traffic Control Tower Pitkin County Airport 0150 Airport Road Aspen, CO, 81611 b. To attend the site visit, advance notice is required by March 1, 2016 at 2:00PM Mountain Time to the FAA POC identified below. You are required to provide your company name and representative(s) full name and contact phone number(s). There will be no substitutions or add-ons after the cutoff date. The FAA facility escort has been instructed not to answer any questions about the project during the site visit, please do not ask them any.
