- The purpose of this announcement is to invite interested parties to the San Francisco Acquisition Interagency Council Small Business Industry Day. This industry day will facilitate open dialogue between Federal Government and Small Business Industry Partners. Industry Day session will be held April 28, 2016 at Ron Dellums Oakland Federal Building. It is recommended that participants arrive no later than 8:00AM to check­in. The meeting is planned to begin at 8:30AM and we anticipate finishing by 2:30PM. Objectives: Government Objectives: • Encourage competition • To ensure synergy between Federal Agencies and Industry representatives through open discussions. • Communicate Program objectives and Small Business Goals Industry Objectives: • Gain better understanding of Federal Agencies' program mission drivers, program success as viewed by the customer and/or end user, technical requirements, acquisition strategy • Meet and Greet with Federal Agencies AGENDA 8:00 am - Sign in 8:30am - Welcoming Comments 8:45am - 10:00am - Government Panel 10:00am - 10:15am - Break 10:15am - 11:30am SBA/PTAC Training 11:30am - 12:30pm Lunch Break (ON YOUR OWN) 12:30pm - 2:30pm Opportunity to meet and greet with Agency Representatives from - Small Business Administration - Veterans Administration - NASA Ames - Environmental Protection Agency - Lawrence Berkeley National Lab - GSA Federal Acquisition Service - GSA Public Building Service - U.S. Forest Service - U.S. Army Corps of Engineers - U.S. Department of Agriculture Agricultural Research Service - U.S. Coast Guard Who should attend: Small Businesses that are interested in Federal contracting and subcontracting opportunities including representatives from Small Disadvantaged Businesses, 8(a), HUB­Zone, Service Disabled Veteran Owned Businesses, and Women­Owned. There is no cost to attend this event, however space is limited. Advanced registration is required and no walk ins will be permitted. Registration closes on April 18, 2016 however, registration may close early if maximum capacity for the event has been reached. Attendance is on a first come, first served basis and submitting this registration form does not guarantee your attendance.
