- Description
- The Onsite IT Engineers requirement is hereby canceled in its entirety and will be reposted today, 3/10/16 under the authoriy of MMAR 6.302-2(a)(1)(2): Public Exigenc, Unusual and compelling urgency". CANCELED IN ITS ENTIRETY The U.S. Government Publishing Office (GPO) seeks other than full and open competition and intend to award a sole source contract to Accelera Solutions, 12150 Monument Drive, Suite 800, Fairfax, VA 22033. Accelera Solutions will be required to continue providing the following ongoing professional service: Upgrade to GPO's legacy Enterprise Citrix & VMWare applications and services as these applications and services are no longer supported by VMWare. The Government's present and in-development VMWare/Citrix environment is an in-progress technology upgrade work which is being designed and implemented in conjunction with the incumbent contractor, Accelera Solutions. The Government's intent is to award a multi-year contract. Under the authority of MMAR 6.302-1(a) (1) Citations: 41 U.S.C. 5(3). "(ii) Supplies may be deemed to be available only from the original source in the case of a follow-on contract for the continued development or production of a major system or highly specialized equipment, including major components thereof, when it is likely that award to any other source would result in - (A) Substantial duplication of cost to the Government that is not expected to be recovered through competition; or (B) Unacceptable delays in fulfilling the agency's requirements". This notice is neither a request for proposals nor a solicitation of offers. A determination by the government not to compete this proposed effort on a full and open competition basis, based on responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the government. Oral communications are not acceptable in response to this notice. All responses shall be sent to Senior Contracting Officer Bobbie L. McKoy at bmckoy@gpo.gov on or before March17, 2016 no later than 12:00 noon, EST.
