Description
The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Philadelphia District intends to initiate a sources sought notice to gather market research to identify resources available to perform preventative maintenance, service calls, and task orders for major repairs at reserve center facilities. This sources sought notice is for INFORMATION PURPOSES ONLY. This is NOT a REQUEST for PROPOSALS, QUOTATIONS, or BIDS. Responses to this request will not be returned. Not responding to this sources sought does not preclude participation in any future and potential solicitation. It is the intent of the Contracting Office to use this information for market research purposes only. The Government WILL NOT pay for the provision of any information, nor will it compensate any respondents for the development of any such information. If a formal solicitation is released, it will be via the Federal Business Opportunities (http:www.fbo.gov). The Philadelphia District of the Corps of Engineers intends to issue an Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) Multiple Award Task Order Contract (MATOC) to procure preventative maintenance services, service calls, and major repairs. For preventative maintenance services, the contractor shall perform inspections and routine maintenance of HVAC equipment, refrigeration systems, life-safety equipment and components, electrical equipment, UPS systems, fire protection systems, automatic and overhead doors, gym equipment, kitchen equipment, etc. throughout the numerous Army Reserve Centers throughout Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont, Massachusetts, and Rhode Island. The contractor will be required to ensure that the equipment is in compliance with Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) specifications. For service calls, the contractor shall perform repairs for equipment that include both emergency and non-emergency situations. The contractor shall have personnel available to respond to such call in a timely manner in accordance to the time frame that will be stated in the solicitation. The contractor shall ensure that the equipment is fixed and operational per Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) specifications. For the major repairs, the contractor shall perform repairs for equipment that involve more complex repairs that do not fall under the service calls. The contractor shall ensure that the equipment is fixed and operational per Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) specifications. For this sources sought notice, the NAICS code is 561210. The size standard is $38, 500,000.00. Additionally, all Services Disabled/Veterans Owned Business or Veterans Owned Small Business must be registered with the Department of Veterans Affairs Center of Veterans Enterprise Vet Biz Registry located at https://www.vip.vetbiz.gov/.
