- This is a synopsis for non-personal services necessary to perform work in support of Air Force Basic Military Training (BMT) at Joint Base San Antonio (JBSA) Lackland AFB, Texas. This announcement constitutes a synopsis only. A solicitation will be issued as a Request for Proposal (RFP). The solicitation will be issued in the very near future. This procurement is a 100% Women-Owned Small Business (WOSB) set aside. NAICS code is 611430. The small business size standard is $11 million. The contractor shall perform specific survey and data analysis tasks, and training for Military Training Instructors (MTI) supervisors and MTIs, necessary for MTI deliberate development. This work is needed to help Air Force leaders better understand trends related to the BMT organizational climate and behavior of MTIs within BMT, to include but not limited to the general BMT environment, trainee and MTI well-being, maltraining and maltreatment and sexual assault. The anticipated period of performance will be a base period of 12 months plus four option years of 12 months each. Contractors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database as prescribed in DFARS 252.204-7004, Alternate A in order to receive award. SAM registration may be obtained at www.sam.gov.
