- The National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA), in support of the National Geospatial-Intelligence College, is seeking information in the form of a capability statement on the level of interest, capabilities and qualifications of academia, small and large businesses to provide a Program of Study in the Data Sciences (PSDS). The details pertaining to this requirement and the request for information (RFI) have been posted to the Classified ARC, which is only accessible to those with a Top Secret/SCI (TS/SCI) clearance. If you have a TS/SCI email address and network, but have not previously registered for the Classified ARC, you can do so by following the steps below: 1. On an unclassified system, go to https://acq.westfields.net. 2. Click 'Register' on the top right corner of the page, which will provide you first with an unclassified ARC account. 3. When you register, use your classified email address as you will not be able to access your classified account without it. 4. Validate your account by clicking on the link you will be sent via email. 5. Your classified ARC account will be created and accessible after two (2) business days. 6. After two (2) business days have passed, you will be able to log into your classified account using the same email and password you used to register on the unclassified system. 7. Access the classified IC ARC via https://acq.nro.ic.gov only using a classified system up to TS/SCI (NMIS, NSAnet, CWE, AWAN, CWAN, JWICS, etc). 8. You can find this announcement under 'NGA Announcements', listed as PSDS. The same RFI#, HM0476-16-R-0034, is also referenced. 9. The vision of the Learning Outreach program is to provide innovative and impactful introductory to advanced-level data science training to the NGA and IC workforce through partnerships with academia and industry. Our goal is to develop workforce competencies in the following areas. ● Analytical Processes ● Data Mining ● Data Analysis ● Planning and Organizing ● Data Preparation ● Process Improvement ● Information Gathering and Research ● Problem Solving ● Statistical Analysis ● Analytical Techniques ● Customer Requirements ● Data Visualization ● Process Analysis ● Data Modeling ● Programming/Development Languages The Contractor shall propose a data science training program, utilizing commercial training courses, with learning objectives that align to development of these competencies at a minimum. The program shall include linked academic courses in data science topics, including courses in the areas of statistics, programming, and visualization. The selected Contractor shall deliver course sessions and course maintenance that assist NGA and the IC in achieving its vision.
