- 4MA0188 - U.S. GOVERNMENT SEEKS EXPRESSIONS OF INTEREST FOR A LEASE REQUIREMENT OF A MINIMUM OF 18,020 ABOA SQUARE FEET TO A MAXIMUM OF 18,921 ABOA SQUARE FEET OF OFFICE SPACE IN SPRINGFIELD, MASSACHUSETTS The General Services Administration (GSA) seeks to lease the following space: State: MASSACHUSETTS City: SPRINGFIELD Minimum Sq. Ft. (ABOA): 18,020 Maximum Sq. Ft. (ABOA): 18,921 Space Type: Office Space Total Parking Spaces (Reserved): 1 Full Term: 10 years Firm Term: 7 years Delineated Area: NORTH: Liberty St. from E. Columbus Ave. in the West to Main St. then North on Main St to Carew St., then East on Carew St to Chestnut St. EAST: Chestnut St. from Carew St.in the north to Pearl St., then east on Pearl to Mattoon St., then along Maltoon St. back to Chestnut St. to Edwards St. then east on Edwards St. to Elliot St., then south on Elliot St. to State St., then west on State St. to Maple St., then south on Maple St. to Union St. SOUTH: Union St. from Maple St. in the east to West Columbus Ave. in the west. WEST: West Columbus Ave. from Union St. in the south to E. Columbus Ave., then north on Columbus Ave (which runs under Interstate 91) to Liberty Street in the north. The U.S. Government currently occupies office and related space in a building under lease in Springfield, Massachusetts. The Government is considering alternative space if economically advantageous. In making this determination, the Government will consider, among other things, the availability of alternative space that potentially can satisfy the Government's requirements, as well as costs likely to be incurred through relocating, such as physical move costs, replication of tenant improvements and telecommunication infrastructure, and non-productive agency downtime. The Government's decision whether to relocate will be based, in part, on information received in response to this advertisement. Offered space must meet Government requirements for fire safety, accessibility, seismic and sustainability standards, and all other requirements as set forth in the Request for Lease Proposals (RLP) package to be issued. Space must be contiguous on one level. Space located above ground level must be serviced by a minimum of two (2) elevators. A fully serviced lease is required. EXPRESSIONS OF INTEREST MUST BE SUBMITTED IN WRITING NO LATER THAN 5:00 PM (EST) on April 11, 2016 AND INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION: 1) Building name and address. 2) Location of space in the building specifying the floor offered. 3) Drawing of space offered. 4) ANSI/BOMA defined Office Area Square Feet for each offered space. 5) Rentable Square Feet (RSF) offered and rental rate per square foot, specifying services, utilities, and tenant improvement allowance included. 6) Percentage of Common Area Factor used to determine the Rentable Square Feet 7) Number of parking spaces offered with space. 8) Name, address, telephone number, and email address of individual offeror authorized by ownership to offer space. Submissions by other than the owner of a property must be accompanied by a letter from the ownership granting permission to make a general offering of space. In instances where the Offeror is representing more than one property, the Offeror is hereby notified that they may only participate in negotiations on behalf of one owner.
