- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format found in FAR Part 13.5, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Request for Quote SPE4A516Q0974 being issued on 03/11/16 with a closing date of 03/21/16. This item is currently sole source to General Electric Company (Cage 99207), NSN 2840-01-164-9031, PR 0062021916, NOZZLE SEGMENT,TURB, Unrestricted, Part Number 4921T07P07. This solicitation is for the total quantity of 227 each. All pieces are to be delivered in 147 DARO or best possible delivery. The solicitation terms included FOB: Origin and Inspection/Acceptance: Origin. Configuration Control applies. This is not Critical Safety Item (CSI). Past Performance Information Retrieval System (PPIRS) will apply. The final contract award decision may be based upon a combination of price, past performance, and other evaluation factors as described in the solicitation. This requirement will be solicited for award of a Firm Fixed Price Contract under FAR Part 13.5 for Commercial Acquisitions. The provision at 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors-Commercial, applies to this acquisition and a statement regarding any addenda to the provision. The provision at 52.212-2 regarding Evaluation of Commercial Items is applicable. All offerors must include a completed copy of the provision at 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications- Commercial Items, with its offer. The clauses at 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions - Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition. The clause at 52.212-5 Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders- Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition and a statement regarding which, if any, of the additional FAR clauses cited in the clause are applicable to the acquisition.
