Description

This is not a Request for Proposal (RFP) Submission. This is a notice of contract action. The AFLCMC/WWZ B-2 Division is contemplating the issuance of a Sole Source Contract with CACI, Chantilly, VA. No solicitation is being issued at this time and this notice shall not be construed as a commitment by the Government to either issue a solicitation or ultimately award a contract. No entitlement to payment of direct or indirect costs or charges to the Government will arise as a result of a response to this notice. Authority: The statutory authority, which permits other than full and open competition for this acquisition, is 10 United States Code (USC) 2304(c ) (1), as implemented in FAR 6.302-1(a)(2)(ii). This authority is supported by an approved J&A. The program office plans to issue the RFP 15 days from this publication. The Government anticipates awarding a new Firm Fixed Price (FFP) contract for B-2 Armament Test Program Sets (TPS). The current status is Pre-Solicitation and it is a Category J - Maintenance, repair & rebuilding of equipment.
