- THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION. THIS NOTICE IS FOR INFORMATION PURPOSES ONLY. This procurement action is being conducted under FAR Part 6.302-1 with the authority of 41 U.S.C. 253 (c), as only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy the requirement. The Bureau of Engraving and Printing (BEP) Acquisition Office intends to award a firm fixed price (FFP) contract to TOUR-MATE SYSTEMS CANADA LTD,137 SAINT REGIS CRES,TORONTO, ON, M3J 1Y6, CA.Tour-Mate is the only known source that can provide a service maintenance agreement for Tour-Mate systems program. This maintenance program will cover all service/ maintenance issues which can be attributed to normal wear and tear, regarding the Tour-Mate SC550 System at the WCF (Western Currency Facility). The award will be a one (1) year base plus four (4) one year options. This is a notice of intent to award a sole source procurement action and is not a request for competitive proposals. Interested parties who believe they possess the technical capabilities to satisfy this requirement should submit documentation that clearly demonstrates their technical capabilities by 25 March 2016. All interested firms must respond to Richard Taylor, via email at richard.taylor@bep.gov. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed procurement action based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. BEP will not reimburse for any costs connected with providing the capability information.
