- Attachment C - Financial Form Attachment B - Transmittal Letter Attachment A - Sample Lease RFP Gateway is seeking to lease, in "as is" condition, the following areas and associated land available for sustainable, mobile, and removable facilities to accommodate seasonal food, beverage, and/or retail services. Applicants may submit Proposals in response to all solicitations. The location offered for lease under this RFP consists of Bay 9 West Mall Suite #3 of the historic Riis Beach boardwalk. Bay 9 West Mall Suite #3 is located opposite Riis Park Beach Bazaar. The approximate size of Suite #3 is 935 square feet and it features a double doors facing the promenade. The Riis Beach boardwalk and other cultural landscape features must be maintained as a cultural resource. All paved areas are designated historic. The boardwalk and other cultural landscape features must be maintained. Riis Park is located on the western end of the Rockaway Peninsula, a barrier island that is within the Borough of Queens. The Park is accessible by car via two bridges and is serviced by two city bus routes. Subway transit requires a bus transfer. City bus stops are conveniently located nearby. The parking lot can accommodate approximately 9,500 vehicles. Ferry service is also available during the summer season from Riis Landing. Please refer to detailed Proposal instructions in the Attachments. Applicants should submit proposals by electronic mail (email), postal mail or by hand delivery. Proposals submittal by telephone, fax, or other methods will not be considered. Proposals will not be returned. Electronic submission of proposals is permitted through email, though such submissions will not have been deemed received until NPS issues a written response acknowledging receipt. Email submissions must be emailed to Gateway_BMD@nps.gov. If Applicants are submitting a response by any method other than electronic mail, the package should contain two (2) paper copies of the proposal, as well as a CD/DVD or memory stick containing a PDF of the entire proposal. All proposals, regardless of the method of submission, must be accompanied by a transmittal letter signed by a principal of any organization or entity responding to this RFP. Hard copy submissions must be must be printed double sided on 8-1/2" x 11" paper. Proposals delivered by any method other than electronic mail must be enclosed in a sealed envelope and the face of the sealed envelope must state the Applicant's name and address and delivered to the following address: Superintendent Gateway National Recreation Area 210 New York Avenue Staten Island, New York 10305 Attention: Bay 9 West Mall Suite #3 Proposal The NPS will hold a site tour upon request.
