Description

Solicitation W81XWH-16-T-0120 This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with FAR 12.6, Streamlined Procedures for Commercial Items, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; Quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is W81XWH-16-T-0120. The solicitation is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). Provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-78 are incorporated. It is the contractor's responsibility to be familiar with the applicable clauses and provisions. The NAICS code is 339112, with a small business size of 500 employees. This is a Full and Open Competition requirement; all qualified vendors are encouraged to submit a quote. The US Army Medical Research Acquisition Activity (USAMRAA) on behalf of the US Army Institute of Surgical Research (USAISR), Fort Sam Houston, TX requests responses from qualified sources capable of supplying equipment that is brand name or equal to Aesculap DRSHD Recorder System and peripheral equipment to upgrade the digital imaging and recording capabilities of an existing Zeiss S8 surgical microscope from SVGA (Super Video Graphics Adapter) resolution to FHD (Full High Definition) or greater.
