Description
Geotechnical Report - W91238-16-R-0022 Specifications - W91238-16-R-0022 Drawings - W91238-16-R-0022 Solicitation - W91238-16-R-0022 The Contractor shall furnish everything necessary, including but not limited to all labor, equipment, supervision, transportation, operating supplies, and incidentals necessary to perform this project. This work includes constructing a fire station which includes administration and engine support. The administrative side includes a day room, cubicle space for station captain and lieutenants, single use restrooms with showers, kitchenette, and storage. A training space is also included in this area but is otherwise separated from the other spaces. The engine support space includes a two bay garage for storage of engines, PPE, gear and tools. A weight room and separate storage room are located off the engine bays. Hazardous material storage will be provided in the maintenance yard in the form of a pre-fabricated structure. Two single-use restrooms accessible from the exterior only are also provided for use by visiting firefighters during incident response missions. Additionally, the site will require substantial grading, paving (asphalt & concrete cement), striping of Lake Isabella Blvd, construction of a wind turbine farm (six1.5 kw vertical axis wind turbines), construction of a septic leach field, installation of drought tolerant landscaping, construction of an irrigation system, construction of retaining/sound walls, construction of a 50' tall hose drying tower, connection to the local water and electrical lines and site fencing, and all other work necessary to make the project complete and usable.
