- Date: 14 Mar 2016 SOLICITATION NO. W9128F-16-B-0007 On or about 8 April 2016, this office will issue Invitations for Bid for construction of the Construct Addition B1134 Missile Maintenance-WSA, QJVF143101, Minot AFB, North Dakota. The solicitation will close on or about 12 May 2016. This solicitation is UNRESTRICTED. Provisions in the solicitation documents will provide a site visit date and detailed information (meeting place, time, points of contact, and access requirements). DO NOT submit requests for plans and specifications to the site visit personnel listed above. See ‘Obtaining Solicitation Documents' below. _______________________________________________________________________________ Project Description: (Approx. quantities) Project consists of providing building additions in two separate areas of the existing Building 1134, totaling approximately 5,200 SF. One addition will be to the building's administrative area and the other addition will be to the maintenance area. Exterior wall construction will be cast-in-place to match existing features. Personnel doors will be galvanized hollow metal, vehicle doors will be insulated sectional overhead. New roof for the additions will be 4-ply built-up roof. Interior partition walls will generally be 10 inch cast-in-place concrete or 3-5/8 inch steel stud and 5/8-inch gypsum board walls. Walls requiring sound attenuation will utilize sound batt insulation with acoustical sealant at penetrations and seams. New mechanical, fire protection, plumbing, and electrical systems will be provided for the building additions that are consistent with the existing systems. Site work includes minor grading, paving (approximately 2,000SF PCC) and exterior lighting. The addition to 1134 will require phasing during construction so as to maintain 100% work capability with minimum interruptions. The estimated construction cost of this project is between $1,000,000 and $2,500,000. _______________________________________________________________________________ The Contractor will be required to commence work within 10 days after notice to proceed and complete the work 420 calendar days after receipt of Notice to Proceed. Provisions will be included for liquidated damages in case of failure to complete the work in the time allowed. Performance and payment bonds will be required. Bonding documents including the power of attorney shall bear an original signature by an officer of the surety. Please be advised of on-line registration requirement for Contractor Registration and for Representations and Certifications Application ‘ORCA' is now located in System for Award Management ‘SAM' database https://www.sam.gov/portal/public/SAM/. Representations and certifications are required to be updated annually as a minimum to keep information current, accurate and complete. The electronic annual representations and certifications are effective until one year from date of submission or update to SAM.
