Description

This is a request for information and sources only, which may or may not lead to a future solicitation. This is not a request for quote (RFQ). The VA will not pay for any information received resulting from this sources sought notice. The Department of Veterans Affairs Network Contracting Office (NCO) 10 is seeking information and sources that are capable of providing annual maintenance on (1) Sterrad 100S, and (3) Sterrad 100NX, Sterilization Systems for the Louis Stokes Cleveland VAMC, 10701 East Boulevard, Cleveland, OH 44106. The contractor shall install, maintain, service, operate and upgrade on the premises.The Sterrad Plasma sterilizers are highly advanced pieces of equipment used for either automated or manual cleaning and disinfection of medical devices. These units use a highly advanced level of technology of hydrogen peroxide concentration that allows for the sterilization of narrower lumens with a shorter cycle time. The ASP high-level disinfection solutions and detergents provide a dependable sanitation of all types of devices leading to a decrease in infectious disease transfer etc in the hospital setting. ASP sterilization products and programs are hard on microorganisms but gentle on the most delicate of endoscopes and medical devices which is critical to the preservation of these highly specialized and extremely costly devices used on a daily basis to provide direct patient care to our Nation's veterans. ASP holds proprietary rights over their equipment and all associated products. In order to preserve the integrity, safety, and functionality of the system, all repairs, preventative maintenance, and upgrades must take place with the use of OEM parts, materials, and software. Sterilization of medical devices must be completed in a timely and reasonable manner. Access to OEM parts must be readily available for all repairs in order to avoid excessive down time / unacceptable delays in patient care. Requests for copies of a solicitation shall not be honored or acknowledged. Information should be forwarded to the Contracting Officer.
