Description

Y - Placer Gulch Trail Construction on the Yellowstone Ranger District Scope of Contract. Construct approximately 3.4 miles of ATV trail. Work generally includes new trail construction, post and sign installation, installation of drainage and erosional control features, construction of switchbacks, light clearing on existing roads, and other miscellaneous trail work. Project Location. The project is located within sections 1 of T3S, R14E, and sections 5, 6 and 8 of T3S, R15E, south of Big Timber, Montana. From Big Timber, follow I90 east for approximately 9 miles and take the Grey Cliff exit. Turn right or west on highway 10E and follow for approximately 1.5 miles. Turn left or south on Lower Deer Creek Road # 16 and follow the road approximately 18 miles to the Placer Gulch trailhead on the left. Follow Placer Gulch ATV trail #256 to access all areas of the project. Construction Magnitude : $25,000 - $100,000 Period of Performance: July 15, 2016 to October 15, 2016
