Description

INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE Raycell Blood Irradiator S/N 6066 I.GENERAL REQUIREMENT Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Network Contracting Office 16 (NCO 16) intends to award a Firm Fixed Price sole source contract award to Best Theratronics, 413 March Road, Ottawa, Ontario CanadaK2K 0E4. The Period of Performance for Contract Award will be from April 1, 2016 to March 31, 2021. This requirement is for the calibration, preventive, and/or corrective maintenance services on the following equipment: MANUFACTURER MODEL SERIAL # Best Theratronics Grammcel Raycell Blood Irradiator 6066 Services shall be performed during the VA normal business hours, 8:00 a.m. through 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, excluding Government holidays. Equipment located at VA Medical Center, 2002 Holcombe BLVD, Houston, TX 77030. (There has been only one reasonable response to the RFI issued on February 16, 2016 under Source Sought Number VA256-16-N-0281). THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES; however, any firm that believes it can meet the requirements may give written notification prior to the response due date and time. Supporting evidence must be furnished in sufficient detail to demonstrate the ability to perform the requirements. Responses received will be evaluated; however, a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. If no responses are received, the Government will proceed with the award. Responses are due by March 21, 2016, 10:00 a.m. (CST). Responses shall be submitted via e-mail to Jarvis.washington@va.gov.
