- The Federal Bureau of Prisons, CTS Contracting Office, Washington, D.C. is seeking quotes from sources that have the ability to provide community-based outpatient substance abuse treatment services, mental health treatment, and sex offender treatment services within 10 mile from Newark City Hall, 920 Broad Street, Newark, New Jersey, 07102, located along a New Jersey Transit system route. This requirement will ensure that the vendor is located within walking distance of public transportation and inmates are not subjected to walking long distances in adverse weather. New Jersey transit has multiple light rail and bus stops located in the above defined area. Performance periods under this contract will be for a one-year base period estimated to begin on October 1, 2016 with nine (9) one-year option periods, with services ending (if all options years are renewed) on September 30, 2026. The services required for this contract include a Base Year, Option Year One, Option Year Two, Option Year Three, Option Year Four, Option Year Five, Option Year Six, Option Year Seven, Option Year Eight, and Option Year Nine respectively. The request for quotation will be available on or after July 1, 2016 and will be distributed solely through the General Services Administration's Federal Business Opportunities web site http: //www.fedbizopps.gov. Hard copies of the quotation will not be available. The site provides downloading instructions. All future information about this acquisition, including quotation amendments, will be distributed solely through this site. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure that they have the most up-to-date information about this acquisition. The estimated closing date will be about six weeks from the solicitation posting date. Faith-Based and Community-Based Organizations can submit offers/bids/quotations equally with other organizations for contracts for which they are eligible. The BOP anticipates awarding a firm-fixed price contract. All responsible business concerns may submit a quote which will be considered by this agency.
