Description

In reference to Pre-Solicitation Notice, N0038316RF3255 this is a sources south notice (SSN) for the following: NAVSUP Weapon Systems Support (NAVSUP WSS) Philadelphia intends to solicit an Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) Long Term Contract (LTC) for 3 base years for the repair of items associated with the H-53 aircraft (see attached Exhibit A). The intention of this solicitation is to award a three year, Firm Fixed Price, Indefinite Quantity contract. The repair contract will include three base years. The Government reserves the right to award the contract to other than the lowest priced offer and to make multiple awards per FAR 16.504(c) where it is most advantageous to the Government to do so. Government intends to make single or multiple awards to the responsible offeror(s) whose offer is considered to be most advantageous to the Government. The Government physically does not have in its possession sufficient, accurate, or legible data to contract repair with other than the current sources. These items require Government Source Approval prior to award. If you are not an approved source, you must submit, together with your proposal, the information detailed in the NAVSUP WSS Source Approval Brochure which can be obtained on the internet at https://www.navsup.navy.mil/navsup/ourteam/navsupwss/business_opps/SAR%20Repairs%20Brochure.pdf. Offers received which fail to provide all data required by the source approval brochure will not be considered for award under this solicitation. Please note, if evaluation of a source approval request submitted hereunder cannot be processed in time and / or approval requirements preclude the ability to obtain subject items in time to meet Government requirements, award of this requirement may be continued based on Fleet support needs.
