Description

Per FAR 5.101the Government is announcing the intent to solicit for a Base and 2 Option Year Contract at Evergreen Soldier's Lot at Southgate, KY for grounds maintenance services. The area encompasses approximately 6,850 square feet. Due to the small size of the area to be maintained, this solicitation is restricted to those businesses within a 5 mile range. This is set aside 100% for small business. Any business shall be in the SAM.gov database by the time of award. Contractor shall provide all labor, equipment, and supplies to complete grounds maintenance. Services will include mowing, trimming, aeration, fertilizing, crab grass control, broadleaf weed and disease control, over-seeding, slit-seeding, leaf collection, trash and debris collection and removal, and placement of gravesite flags. The solicitation will be open for 10 days commencing Wed March 16th. Proposals are to be submitted by the email listed above by March 28th at 2PM Eastern. The NAICS Code is 5617301. Size standard is $7.5 Million. Award will be made on the lowest evaluated prices of proposals meeting or exceeding the acceptability standards for past performance. Site visits are suggested, but there is no one at the site to answer questions. Proposals shall be submitted as requested. Failure to submit all required documentation as required may result in the submission being determined non-responsive and removed from further consideration.
