- Request For Information (RFI): Overhaul of Gearboxes installed on The United States Coast Guard's MH-60T Aircraft This RFI is issued solely for information and planning purposes and to identify interested sources. It does not constitute a Request for Quote (RFQ) or a promise to issue an RFQ in the future. It is subject to change and is not binding on the Government. Further, unsolicited proposals will not be accepted. Funding is not available at this time. The United States Coast Guard (USCG) has not made a commitment to overhaul the Gearboxes discussed, and release of this RFI should not be construed as such a commitment or as authorization to incur cost for which reimbursement would be required or sought. All submissions become Government property and will not be returned. Not responding to this RFI does not preclude participation in any future RFQ if any is issued. If a solicitation is released, it will be synopsized in the Federal Business Opportunities (FedBizOps) website, www.fbo.gov. It is the responsibility of the potential responders to monitor this site for additional information pertaining to this subject. The USCG Aviation Logistics Center (ALC) requests capability statements from interested companies for the purpose of identifying Naval Supply Weapons Systems Support (NAVSUP WSS) certified sources capable of overhauling the items below IAW Naval Air Systems Command Depot Maintenance Technical Manual A1-862QA-MDB-200 (latest revision), A1-866QA-MDB-300, A1-862QA-MDB-000 and A1-862QA-MDB-100 (latest revision) at Firm Fixed Prices. Main Gearbox desired delivery after receipt of order (ARO) is 120 calendar days after induction. All of Gearboxes desired delivery is 90 calendar days. Induction is desired 20 days after receipt at Contractor's facility. Delivery of at least 2 overhauled Main Gearboxes and Input Module Gearboxes and 1 overhauled of each of the other Gearboxes per month is desired. Please respond to the following questions in addition to submission of your company's capability statement: 1. Is your company NAVSUP WSS certified? 2. Is your company a large or small business? If small, define your company's socioeconomic classification. 3. What is your company's lead time for these items? 4. Would you subcontract any part of this work? 5. Is this item treated as commercial or non-commercial? 6. Does your company offer warranty on overhauls? If yes what is the standard warranty? 7. Where is your overhaul facility located? 8. Does the Service Contract Act apply to these overhauls? If not state exemption. Responses may include data that companies do not want disclosed to the public for any purpose or used by the Government except for information purposes.
