- PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Citico Creek Road Paving. Contractor shall provide all labor, supervision, tools, material, and equipment necessary to place hot asphalt paving on designated portions of Citico Creek Road on the Tellico Ranger District, Cherokee National Forest. Work includes placing C mix asphalt over the full width of the existing asphalt to a compacted thickness of 2" on approximately 2,360 linear feet of the road; furnishing, installing and maintaining traffic control devices; cleaning existing asphalt; and applying tack coat. All work shall be performed in strict accordance with the specification and drawings CONTRACT TIME: 20 calendar days from the effective date of the Notice to Proceed. ESTIMATED PRICE RANGE: $25,000 to $150,000 PROJECT LOCATION: Tellico Ranger District, Monroe County, TN. Directions to project site: From Madisonville, TN, travel north on US Hwy 411 approximately 9 miles to Vonore, TN. At the intersection with TN 360, turn right and continue approximately 7 miles to the intersection with County Road #455. At County Road #455 continue straight approximately 9 miles to the end of the pavement at Forest Road #35-1 (Citico Creek Road). Continue on #35-1 approximately 4.5 miles to Section I. SET-ASIDE: 100% Small Business SOLICITATION DOCUMENTS: This solicitation, AG-4756-S-16-0016, and related documents will be issued via FedBizOpps as a Request for Quotation and will be available for downloading on or about March 29, 2016 at the website address: http://www.fedbizopps.gov/. PRE-BID MEETING: A pre-bid meeting will be held (non-mandatory). Details will be included in the solicitation.
