- SOURCES SOUGHT NOTIFICATION (Brand Name/Equal) The 502d Contracting Squadron intends to award a Purchase Order (PO) on/about 1 April 2016. This PO is for four (4) aluminum transport cages with stainless steel casters to be used at Wilford Hall Ambulatory Surgical Center (WHASC), JBSA-LacklandTexas 78236. Items are needed to transport animals from cage/run to surgical suite. The contractor shall furnish product literature for the following: DESCRIPTION • •a) Qty: 4- Aluminum transport cage complete with door on each end and door on top to match existing cage design. •b) Aluminum sheet flooring and stainless steel casters. •c) Dimensions: 24" wide X 48" long X 34 tall (not including casters) •d) Must be able to carry up to 2,000 lbs of weight •e) FOB: Destination •f) Brand Name or Equal: LGL Animal Care Products, P/N 90710 The NAICS code for this acquisition is 332618 and the size standard is 500 Employees. This sources sought notice is published for market research purposes only. This notice is neither a request for quotes nor a solicitation for offers. However, all responses received by 18 March 2016 at 10:00 AM CST will be reviewed and considered by the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether conducting a competitive procurement is in the best interest of the Government. Written responses must provide clear and concise documentation indicating a vendor's bona fide capability to perform delivery of the requested supplies. Please include the company's name, point of contact, address, phone number, email address, and website (if applicable). Also include DUNS number, CAGE Code and Tax ID. The contractor must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) www.sam.gov at time of award. Verbal responses to this notice are not acceptable and will not be considered. All information submitted shall support the vendor's definite capability to provide the commodities/supplies required and all information shall be furnished at no cost to the Government.
