- Description
- The Contractor shall verify site conditions and conduct all field surveys and measurements as necessary to complete this project. All performance under this project shall meet or exceed US Government and Japanese Construction Standards. The Contractor shall provide all labor, materials, equipment and any other necessary items to complete this project identified in the Statement of Work (SOW) for Project No. EVKP 16-4539, Repair Military Family Housing (MFH) Upper Plaza, Plaza Housing, Okinawa Japan. Perform all work indicated in the SOW and Drawings which will be included in the solicitation package. The scope of work for this project includes but not limited to: A. General Description of work: 1. Civil work: Replace ground surface, asphalt concrete pavement and side work. 2. Architectural work: Replace interior and exterior doors, replace windows and curtain cove, replace concrete floor slab-on-grade, conduct Asbestos and LBP sampling and testing, paint interior surface, install Government Furnished Equipment, replace floor, replace ceiling and ceiling fan. 3. Mechanical work: Replace heat pump system, provide ventilation system and HVAC control system, replace drain, waste and vent piping, replace domestic piping, replace kitchen sinks with disposer, water closets, bathtubs, bath/shower valves, lavatories, laundry sinks, provide hose bibs. 4. Electrical/Communication/Fire Protection work: replace and provide interior and exterior electrical system, provide communication system, replace and provide smoke alarm system. The magnitude of this project is expected between $1,000,000.00 and $5,000,000.00 in accordance with FAR 36.204. Selection will be based upon evaluation factors which will be stipulated on the solicitation package. Interested Offerors are encouraged to frequently check this posting for updates.
