- Description
- The Contractor shall verify site conditions and conduct all field surveys and measurements as necessary to complete this project. All performance under this project shall meet or exceed US Government and Japanese Construction Standards. The Contractor shall provide all labor, materials, equipment and any other necessary items to complete this project identified in the Statement of Work (SOW) for Project No. LXEZ 16-4541, Repair Family Housing, KAB North Terrace, Okinawa Japan. Perform all work indicated in the SOW and Drawings which will be included in the solicitation package. The scope of work for this project includes but not limited to: •A. General Description of work: •1. Civil work: Repair all disturbed ground surfaces to its original condition. (Pavement, Sidewalk, Walkway, Ground Surface, Repair grading) •2. Architectural work: Replace interior and exterior doors, replace windows and insect screens, provide new gypsum board ceiling with suspension system and provide required access panels, replace existing floor finishes and wall base, repair of concrete cracks and spalls prior to painting, conduct Asbestos and LBP sampling and testing, paint interior surface. •3. Mechanical work: Replace heat pump system, provide mechanical dehumidifier units with humidistats controls, Replace bathroom exhaust fan, replace kitchen range hoods with ducts, conduct the testing, adjusting, balancing (TAB) system and commissioning of all HVAC system, replace domestic cold and hot water pipes, replace sewer line, drain line and vent line including all accessories, replace 2-compartment stainless steel kitchen sink, single lever faucet, replace porcelain lavatory sinks, replace hose bibbs with vacuum breaker, faucets for washing machine. •4. Electrical/Communication/Fire Protection work: replace and provide interior and exterior electrical system, provide communication system, replace and provide smoke alarm system. The magnitude of this project is expected between $1,000,000.00 and $5,000,000.00 in accordance with FAR 36.204. Selection will be based upon evaluation factors which will be stipulated on the solicitation package. Interested Offerors are encouraged to frequently check this posting for updates.
