- This work involves a variety of spraying equipment capable of applying herbicides to steep slopes, rugged terrain and managed turf areas. Contractor needs strong knowledge on the mixing, storing and application of a large number of Corps approved herbicides. Needs to be Iowa state certified in Turf, Ornamental, Forestry and Right of Way. Needs to provide proper safety equipment and application placards to safely work in park areas. Needs to be able to properly identify determined invasive species in all stages of growth. Must be able to work in difficult environmental conditions including hot and cold weather.
