Description
IGF::OT::IGF IDIQ for USGS IT Support Services (SCAS II) Notice of Award. This award results from the competitive solicitation (G16PS00014) and Request for Proposals (RFP) dated 10/30/2015, which closed on 12/2/2015. A single Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract is awarded utilizing FAR Parts 12 and 15 procedures, as well as FAR Part 19.8 (100% set-aside under Section 8(a) of the Small Business Act (15 U.S.C. 637(a)). The United States Geological Survey (USGS) Office of Enterprise Information (OEI) is responsible for providing policy, strategic direction, and leadership for the bureau in information technology (IT), information security, information resources management, information services, and information science and all business related aspects used in the support of USGS. The organization mission of OEI is to support the scientific mission of the USGS. The USGS OEI has a need for information technology (IT) expertise and support for the USGS IT environment. The services include the broad areas of: science collaboration; applications development; application support; end-user support; infrastructure support; hosting and data management support; IT telecomm support; IT security support, etc. The contract is structured to allow for fixed-price task orders, or Time and Materials (Labor-Hour) based task orders depending upon the nature of the services involved. The IDIQ contract's ordering period is five years from the date of award. The minimum guaranteed order amount for the total contract is $750,000.00; while the IDIQ contract maximum (ceiling) amount is $49,000,000.00. (There is no assurance that the cumulative dollar amount of task orders placed over the contract's life will be more than the contract's minimum guarantee amount; nor, is there any assurance that orders will be placed on any regular or stable schedule or for regular or stable amounts over the five year ordering period).
