Description

This is a notice that the Department of Veterans Affairs Technology Acquisition Center is planning to modify Contract Number VA118-15-C-0095 on an Other than full and Open Competition basis to increase the quantity of healthcare claims that may be scanned/transmitted via Optical Character Recognition under the existing contract. Contract Number VA118-15-C-0095 was awarded to SSI Claimsnet, LLC, located at 14860 Montfort Dr., Suite 250, Dallas, TX 75231 on October 1, 2014. The statutory authority permitting other than full and open competition is 41 U.S.C.3304(a)(1) as implemented by the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 6.302-1 entitled, "Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements."
