- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information in this notice. This solicitation is issued as a Request for Quote Number HSCG80-16-Q- P30E67. This number is for tracking purposes only. Solicitation documents and incorporated provision and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-87. This procurement will be processed in accordance with FAR Part 12. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) is 238330. The Small Business Administration (SBA) size standard is 15 Mil. This is a Total Small Business Set-A-Side. The USCG Surface Forces Logistics Center located in Norfolk, Virginia intend to award a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) Purchase Order for carpet and vinyl base installation on CGC Resolute, St Petersurg, FL. See Schedule B below. The USCG/Government intends to award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible bidder proposal conforming to the solicitation which will be most advantageous and the Best Value to the Government, price and other factors considered. PLEASE NOTE: Interested Offeror's are to provide Firm Fixed Price proposals in accordance with the solicitation by March 24, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. EST. Firm Fixed Price Proposals must be submitted on company letterhead stationery and must include the following information: (1) Cost Breakdown, (2) Unit Price, (3) Extended Price, (4) Total Price, (5) Payment Terms, (6) Discount offered for prompt payment, (7) Company DUNS and Cage Code. SCHEDULE B: Line Item 1: Provide labor and material to install carpet and vinyl base as follows, 1 JB Vendor shall provide carpet and vinyl base to include all labor, tools, and materials: Removal of existing carpet and vinyl cove base, fairing and leveling underlayment up to 10% of the existing space, removals and resets of interfering furniture, equipment, etc., installing new carpet consisting as defined herein and the installation of new vinyl black cove base: Carpet: MC 200 Empire Blue Classification: Class Two Construction: Velvet-woven woven loop Pitch: 216 Pile Height:.230 Rows: 8.0 per inch Face Yarn: 100% Wool with Static Control Ply: 3 Ply Dye Method: Skein Dyed Yarn Weight: 42.5 ounces per square yard Backing Material: Synthetic Flammability ASTM E648 Radiant Panel - exceeds.50 watts per cm Smoke Density: ASTM E662 Smoke Density: Less than 450 Certified to DDD-C-95 along with Military Standard 1623D Carpet is to be installed in the following spaces as listed: Ward Room 404.04 SF, CPO Mess 354.04 SF, And CO Cabin 204.00 SF. The period of performance shall be 31 March to 05 April 2016. Location of service: CGC Resolute, 600 8th Ave, St Petersburg, FL 33701-5099.
