- Minimum requirements This is a combined synopsis and solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Request for Quotation (RFQ) number is N66604-16-Q-1116. Incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-87. This requirement is unrestricted. NAICS Code is 334513, Size standard is 500 employees. The Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division, Newport (NUWCDIVNPT) intends to award a Firm Fixed Price purchase order on a sole source basis to Material Systems, Inc., Littleton, MA (CAGE Code 0SGX6) for the following items: Two (2) Receive Arrays, P/N 11382-03, each consisting of a 1x19 element linear array in a stainless steel housing; and two (2) Projector Assemblies, P/N 11383-03, each consisting of 3 circular disc projectors, with transformers and inductors, in a stainless steel housing. See attachment (1) for minimum requirements. Required delivery is 16 weeks after award, F.O.B. Destination Naval Station Newport; Newport, RI. Material Systems, Inc. is the only source able to provide these parts because they are unique to the company's patented extrusion process and these parts were confirmed and qualified via NUWCDIVNPT laboratory testing. These arrays and assemblies must be an exact match in order to work in the Non-Traditional Sensor System (NTSS) currently being utilized at NUWCDIVNPT. All other timely offers will be considered. The following addenda or additional terms and conditions apply: Defense Priorities and Allocations System (DPAS) rating of DO-C9 applies. Offers should include price and delivery terms and the following additional information: none required.
