Description

It is our intent to award this contract as a brand name/sole source acquisition directly to PLC, LLC a Veteran Own Business. This requisition is for annual support of Esker Deliveryware software licenses purchased in 2007 and in use to support Birmingham Debt Management Operations Center document management storage and retrieval of debtor correspondence for the Integrated Document Management System-Records Management (IDMS-RM). The annual software support was previously only available from Esker Inc., who is the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) software vendor that develops the Esker Deliveryware application. However, two years ago Esker Inc., decided to no longer sell or provide software support directly to government organizations. They worked with PLC to establish them as the only Esker certified qualified to sell and support government entities. We have researched sites such as GSA Advantage, Google, and spoken with the OEM Vendor. All research indicates that PLC is the only company that is certified to sell and support government organizations for the Esker Deliveryware product.
