Description

This sources sought is in support of conducting market research performed by the United States Air Force, 17th Contracting Squadron, Goodfellow AFB, TX and to identify potential businesses with the capability to perform under proposed Firm Fixed Priced contract. The information received herein will be used to determine the best acquisition strategy for this procurement action. The government is interested in all responsible interested business concerns. This Sources Sought is to notify companies that the U.S. Air Force is seeking sources to complete the following: This requirement is for IHS Subscription package (Jane's Defense Equipment & Technology Intelligence Center and Jane's Military and Security Assessments Intelligence Center) or equal. Salient characteristics: An unclassified commercial off-the-shelf searchable database of military, political, and terrorist threat information. The database must include highly technical, detailed, accurate, and up to date information on worldwide military equipment, weapons, organizational structure, C4I, Orders of Battle (OBs), and tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs) for all military branches, all while ensuring the data is open-source and. The Intel database must contain military and intelligence analysis in addition to raw military data, and must include photographs, diagrams, silhouettes, and satellite imagery. The database must also contain military capabilities studies, and country studies, and provide relevant information pertinent to the development and analysis of the Intelligence Preparation of the Operational Environment intelligence product. This information must be search-able by browser-based tools, be self-contained, and have the ability to be loaded in its entirety onto a standalone network server. The product must not require access to the Internet at any point; setup, use, or upgrades. The Intel database must allow for intelligence updates via disposable media to maintain operational currency at least on a recurring monthly basis. The software database must support at least a total of 25 concurrent users. How to respond: At this time, please do not include any pricing information as it will not be evaluated. Company name and cage code 2. Mailing address and point of contact 3. Provide a description of your company's ability to provide the products listed above or a system similar to the products mentioned above that would fulfill the requirement. This is not a notice of announcement for solicitation. This notice is not to be construed as a commitment on the part of the Government to award a contract, nor does the Government intend to pay for any information submitted as a result of this notice. The information received in response to this announcement will be used to finalize the acquisition strategy for this requirement.
