- Proposed statement of work. Sources Sought: Virtualization Requirements Authority: FAR 6.302-1(c). This is a sources sought in an effort to identify additional sources capable of meeting this requirement. Procedures outlined in DFARS PGI 206.302-1 are applicable to this acquisition. Summary: The Missouri National Guard Data Processing Installation needs software to support a new server. Software must: 1. Provide hypervisor virtualization. 2. be compatible with existing VMware vSphere software. 3. be compatible with existing Cisco Nexus 1000v Virtual Switch. 4. Must integrate with existing VMware ESXi server cluster. Currently, the only known software capable of meeting the requirement is VMWare. This would indicate that the need for a "Name Brand Acquisition" in accordance with FAR 6.302-1(c). Purpose: The purpose of this request is to identify other sources capable of meeting this requirement in an effort to increase competition.
