- Description
- The Regional Health Contracting Office - Pacific at Tripler Army Medical Center (TAMC), Hawaii, intends to make a sole source award to Smiths Medical ASD to upgrade the Pharmguard 600 Medication Safety Software from its current version to version 6. The statutory authority permitting this award without providing full and open competition is FAR 13.106-1(b)(1)(i), which authorizes the government to award contracts when the circumstances of the contract action deem only one source reasonably available and no other suppliers or services will satisfy agency requirements. However, interested vendors who can fulfill this brand name only requirement may submit in writing their capabilities and qualifications. Responses to this notice should include company name, address, and telephone number, point of contact (POC), and brochures which will allow the Government to understand your offerings and options. Capability statements should be submitted to the attention of Donna Tomita, Contract Specialist, email donna.f.tomita.civ@mail.mil. Telephone responses will not be accepted. Responses must be received no later than 30 March 2016 at 10:00 AM Hawaii Standard Time. A determination by the government not to compete this proposed effort on a full and open competition basis, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the government.
