Description
The purchase of licence maintenance agreements for 16 IMPACT Intelligence Analysis systems produced by Textron Systems Advanced Information Solutions. The purchase is for the maintenance agreement catch-up period and for the follow-on period for each of the 16 licenses. Army South purchased the systems for our partner nation and the maintenance agreements allow Textron to update the software and to provide helpdesk support IAW the original purchase order. The Government hereby submits a notice of intent to award a firm fixed price contract for generator compressor repair services under other than full and open competition to Textron Inc. Small Business. The resultant purchase order/contract will be a new Service agreement for software patches. The period of performance / lead time is 1 April 2016-31 March 2017 and will be less than $150,000.00. There were no other vendors/contractors that bid/quoton the requirement, this sole source award will prevent possible delays that could be detrimental to the mission. Other than full and open competition is in accordance with FAR 13.501. An approved Justification and Approval is on file in the contracting office. Responses to this notice must demonstrate clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government, would not be cost or time prohibitive, and would not hinder the mission objectives of Joint Base San Antonio (JBSA) Command. The determination not to compete this proposed contract action is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered for the purposes of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. The Government will not be responsible for any costs incurred by responding to this notice. This is not a request for quotes or proposals.
