- Description: Courier Services This is a Combined Synopsis Solicitation for a commercial item acquisition and will be conducted in accordance with FAR Parts 13.5. This procurement is 100% set aside for Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SVOSB). Quoters shall sign, fully complete, and submit the completed RFQ document and include any additional technical responses, attachments, certificates being requested therein. The Government requires specimen courier services in support of the Miami VA Healthcare System as indicated in the solicitation document. It is the intention of the Government to solicit via Request for Quote (RFQ) VA248-16-Q-0581, NAICS Code: 492110, in accordance with all terms, conditions, provisions, specifications and schedules of the solicitation and award a contract on a competitive basis. The contract resulting from this solicitation shall be base a Firm Fixed Price contract. In an effort to meet the green initiative, documents shall be submitted electronically via email only. Emails shall not be more than five (5) megabytes in size. Quotes submitted by any other means other than emailed will not be accepted. The electronic solicitation will be announced on March 23, 2016. The quoter will be responsible for downloading all solicitation documents-amendments from the Federal Business Opportunities (FedBizOpps) website (www.fbo.gov) without further notice from the Department of Veterans Affairs. Interested firms must be registered in the SAM database www.sam.gov. All correspondence and questions must be submitted in an email to: gwendolyn.law@va.gov. The Contracting Officer is O'niel Alvarez. The last day for question or Request for Information (RFI's) from industry is March 25, 2016 @ 3:00 pm ET.
