Description
A Sources Sought Notice was previously posted for Emergency Eye Wash Station Inspection and Certification under W15QKN-16-X-03FK. The previous notice is replaced in its entirety with W15QKN-16-X-047Y as follows: The U.S. Army, Army Contracting Command (ACC) Joint Armaments Center (JA), Picatinny Arsenal, NJ 07806-5000, on behalf of the METC Division at US Army Armaments, Research, Development and Engineering Center (ARDEC), is contemplating award of multiple Blanket Purchase Agreements for the inspection and certification of emergency eye wash stations. Inspection and certification of the emergency eyewash stations must be in accordance with ANSI/ISEA Z358.1-2014. Additionally, eye wash stations may require repair. No plumbing work will be required under the agreements. The Government currently has a quantity of 78 plumbed eye wash stations with tepid water systems and 45 portable eye wash stations. The eye wash stations and tepid water systems are manufactured by Bradley Corporation and/or Speakman. Interested parties should have appropriate qualifications for inspection and certification of this equipment. Service shall be performed on-site at Picatinny Arsenal, NJ 07806-5000. Interested sources should identify, in their response, the brands of emergency eye wash station which they are capable of inspecting and certifying and repairing. Interested sources are encouraged to submit information on their capabilities no later than April 7, 2016. Submittals and questions should be directed to the following point of contact: US Army Contracting Command, Attn. William Tenz, ACC-NJ-JA, Bldg. 9, Picatinny Arsenal, NJ 07806-5000, email: william.d.tenz.civ@mail.mil. All information is to be submitted at no cost or obligation to the U.S. Government and will be held in confidential status. The U.S. Government reserves the right to reject, in whole or in part, any input as a result of this market survey. The U.S. Government is not obligated to notify respondents of the results of the survey. This market survey is for information and planning purposes only and does not constitute a Request for Proposal (RFP), solicitation, or as an obligation on the part of the U.S. Government. This is not to be construed as a commitment by the U.S. Government. The Government will accept written questions by email only. TELEPHONE INQUIRIES WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. This notice is open to all business concerns; however, in accordance with FAR 19.501, the Government's intent is to establish BPAs with small business concerns. In the event there are not sufficient responses from responsible, capable small business, then large business responses will be considered.
