- List of Universe NSNs (SPE5EN-16-R-0002) PR Number: 10100044048 FSC 5305 thru 5340 & 9390 NOMENCLATURE: NAVY APPROVED SOURCE ITEMS RFP Due Date: 2016 April 29 Quantity: This is an Indefinite Quantity (IQC) Solicitation under Simplified Acquisition Procedures for Commercial Items under FAR 13.5. This procurement is for a two year base period. The solicitation contains an option to extend the terms of the contract for three additional one-year periods. This procurement is for 46 Price Evaluation List (PEL) items and 1196 items may be added on a post award basis via ADD/Delete Clause. The first item is NSN 5305-01-077-5798. Items are Navy with approved sources. This acquisition is being solicited on an unrestricted basis. The solicitation request offers on a stock basis only. This acquisition also contains a guaranteed minimum. Delivery: 200 days. This solicitation contains Surge and sustainment (S&S) requirements. Surge Pricing is included in the solicitation. The offeror must provide a detailed approach for covering S&S requirements in the Capability Assessment Plan (CAP) and, if required, a Validation/Test Plan. Note: This is a renewal requirement. Solicitation Clauses DLAD 52.217-9006/9007/9008/9009/9010 will contain complete details. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered by the agency. Anticipated Award Date: 2016 June 30 The Government intends to award one or more contracts resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror(s) whose offer represents the best value to the Government, price and past performance considered. This contract action is for supplies which the Government does not possess complete, unrestricted technical data, therefore, the Government intends to solicit and contract with a limited number of sources. The applicable statutory authority permitting other than full and open competition is 41 U.S.C. 1901, as implemented by FAR 13.500.. The applicable regulatory authority is FAR Section 13.501(a)(1).
