Description
The U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID), Office of Small and Disadvantaged Business Utilization (OSDBU), will host its 9th Annual Small Business Conference on Wednesday, May 4, 2016, 9:00 am - 4:30 pm. The event will be held at the Ronald Reagan Building/International Trade Center, Pavilion Room, 1300 Pennsylvania Avenue, N.W., Washington, D.C. 20004. This year's theme is "USAID and U.S. Small Businesses: Expanding Opportunities Worldwide". The event will include: · Remarks from local dignitaries and USAID leadership; · Information about federal government contracting and working with USAID and its Missions; · Matchmaking and counseling with USAID technical and contracting officials and USAID prime contractors; · Lunch with the Leaders and award ceremony; and · Networking Participants will gain insightful information about marketing services or products to USAID and its Missions. During the “Lunch with the Leaders” they will have an opportunity to network with USAID leadership and contracting officials. REGISTRATION PROCESS Completion of registration does not guarantee admittance to the conference. You must receive an email confirmation to attend. Attendance is limited to one (1) representative per company. Registration is a two part process. First step: Submit registration, and you will receive an email notification that your registration is “Received”. The USAID will confirm each registrant’s DUNS and related information before registration is accepted. Second Step: Registrants will receive an email notification which indicates the registration is “Accepted”. At that time, you will select your matchmaking and “Lunch with the Leader” preferences. At this phase, payment is required. Registration is $75.00. The registration site is: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/USAIDsbc2016.
