Description

The Department of Veterans Affairs, Veterans Health Administration (VHA) Contracting Office intends to issue a sole source award to Vergent Power Solutions of Waltham, MA to provide a preventative maintenance service agreement contract for our Capstone Microturbine unit. Vergent Power Solutions is the only factory authorized service provider in Massachusetts for the manufacturer Capstone Turbine Corporation. The microturbine is a highly sophisticated, and proprietary, machine that requires experienced authorized service providers. This Factory Protection Plan cannot be obtained by any other vendor. This purchase will be made under simplified acquisition procedures as authorized by FAR 13-106-1(b). This notice is neither a request for quote nor a solicitation for offers.
