Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation and a written solicitation will not be issued. This is notice of the Government's intent to issue a sole source purchase order to Mazak Optonics Corporation (Cage: 459V8) under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other services will satisfy agency requirements and incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 48 CFR 12.603. The contractor identified above is the only known source that can meet all of the requirements. Description of requirements: Provide service technician and materials to repair and complete preventative maintenance on a Mazak Super Turbo-X510 Mk III RTC, with Laser Model C02 Laser YB-L400A 8M6E. the alarm message on the NC operating panel is #311 (Laser Vacuum Alarm) and the oscillator has an alarm #52(Vacuum Leakage Detected). FOB to Destination at Mechanicsburg, PA 17050. Inspection / Acceptance Destination. Proposals must include estimated freight costs for evaluation purposes. The freight for this contract will be a not to exceed amount. This will be a firm-fixed price contract and the funding cannot be adjusted upward after award. All payment requests for freight shall be accompanied by actual invoices. Payment requests for freight without actual invoices will be denied. Contract completion is April 29, 2016 after receipt of order or sooner at no additional cost to the Government. Defense Priorities and Allocations System (DPAS): DOB9 All responsible sources may submit a bid, proposal, or quotation sufficient to determine whether the Offeror's quote will satisfy the Government's requirements. Unless specified otherwise in your quotation, it will be presumed you are quoting in accordance with the terms and conditions specified in the solicitation and payment terms are net 30 days. The Government reserves the right to make an award on any item, for any quantity less than the quantity offered, at the unit process offered, unless the offeror specifies otherwise in the quotation. The Government also reserves the right to make multiple awards if, after considering the additional administrative costs, it is in the Government's best interest. Award will be made utilizing the Lowest Price Technically Acceptable (LPTA) source selection process. Technical acceptability is a pass/fail determination. Proposals must be submitted to: Kevin.H.Williams@dla.mil no later than the closing response date listed above. All respondents shall be actively registered in the System for Award Management, ORCA, and have a valid DUNS number, Cage Code, and Tax Identification Number. All proposals received after the closing date listed may be considered "late" and may not be considered for award.
