- Description
- CNS/ATM Conference Registration CNS/ATM Conference Pamphlet Air Force Life Cycle Management Center's (AFLCMC) Battle Management Directorate (BM), Aerospace Management Systems Division (HBA), CNS/ATM Program office (AFLCMC/HBAG), located at Hanscom Air Force Base (AFB), Massachusetts, is announcing its 2016 CNS/ATM Conference "Save The Date" information to our CNS/ATM Industry Partners. The U.S. Air Force Communications, Navigation, and Surveillance/ Air Traffic Management (CNS/ATM) conference will be held 20-23 June 2016 at the Hope Hotel & Richard C. Holbrooke Conference Center at Wright-Patterson AFB, Ohio. This is a DoD-approved event and registration is free for all attendees. The conference itself is a multi-day technical information exchange that is designed to support professional development and bridge the knowledge of CNS/ATM capabilities among the military aviators from all branches, civilian aviation authorities, and industry representatives. The conference will provide an educational forum where participating organizations and acquisition program offices can learn about emerging technologies and current issues in meeting civil airspace requirements from key government organizations including the CNS/ATM Center of Excellence. Presentations will be given by experts in all three major avionics areas (communications, navigation, and surveillance) and will cover a broad range of topics including the worldwide civil airspace infrastructure, current and projected requirements by geographic location, the benefits of meeting these civil mandates for military operations, and the Air Force CNS/ATM compliance process. By gaining this knowledge, military platforms will be able to better plan current and future CNS/ATM upgrades thus ensuring continued access to civilian airspace wherever the mission may be. Please see the conference pamphlet and registration form for more details. If you would like more information on this event and how to register, please contact the Air Force CNS/ATM Center of Excellence at: AFLCMC.HBAG.CNS-ATMPLANNING@us.af.mil
