Description
DEPARTMENT OF VETERANS AFFAIRS DESIRES TO LEASE SPACE The Department of Veterans Affairs desires to lease approximately 7,400 to 9,990 contiguous net usable square feet of warehouse and related space in Gainesville, Florida. New and existing buildings will be considered. However, If not a new building, the space offered shall be in a building that has undergone, or will undergo by occupancy a complete modernization or adaptive reuse for the space with modern conveniences. The space must be available for occupancy by October 1, 2016, and must be located outside the 100-year floodplain. The lease term requirement must be in full compliance with the requirements of the Solicitation for Offers (SFO). The contract base period of performance (POP) will be for 10 Years, 5 Years Firm. Space within or fronting on the following boundaries will be considered: North to NW 53rd Ave South to SE Williston Rd East to NE Waldo Rd West to Interstate 75 The minimum shell requirements for this space are as follows: 1.Ceiling height should have a minimum clearance of 18' throughout the space 2.Minimum 5 parking spaces on-site 3.Working water fountain 4.One (1) unisex restroom (accessible to both spaces) 5.Minimum of two (2) roll-up doors (one in each space) 6.Space must be accessible to large trucks including tractor trailers. 7.Space must be climate controlled 8.Automatic fire suppression system 9.Must be accessible from 7:00 am to 9:00 pm 10.Doors and windows in the building should be fully secured. To be included in initial considerations, interested offerors shall address all of the following when responding to this advertisement. 1. Proposed property address with map showing property within the delineated area. 2.Name, phone number and e-mail address of property owner. Note, if responding and you are not the property owner, i.e., broker, provide written statement from property owner (owner letterhead) authorizing you to represent the owner. 3.Documentation evidencing that proposed property is outside the 100-year flood plain. 4.Documentation supporting offerors' ability to meet all the Government's requirements identified in this advertisement. 5.Amount of space offered. 6.Number of parking spaces. 7.Date space is available. A market survey of offered properties will be conducted by VA staff.
