Description

J&A for Fire Suppression Discharge clean-up This notice is prepared in accordance with (IAW) Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 5.207 and is not a request for quote/proposal (RFQ/RFP). HSCG38-16-Q-300037 is assigned for tracking purposes only. This is a notice of the Government's intent to award one (1) purchase order with firm-fixed prices to Clean Harbors Environmental Services, Norwell, MA on a sole source basis for the emergency clean-up and disposal of Fire Suppression Foam and waste water from the United States Coast Guard's Heavy Maintenance Facility (HMF) located at 1060 Consolidated Road, Elizabeth City, NC. These services are commercial in nature IAW FAR 2.101. The period of performance began 20 March 2016 through 22 March 2016. Set-aside: Pursuant to FAR 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source and no Other Supplies or Services will Satisfy Agency Requirements, under the authority of the Competition in Contracting Act (CICA), 41. U.S.C. 2304(d)(1)(B). The Contracting Officer has determined that there is not a reasonable expectation of obtaining offers from two or more responsible small business concerns therefore the small business set-aside is dissolved. This requirement is unrestricted. Anticipated date of Award: On or about 6 April 2016.
