- This Notice of intent to Sole Source is not a request for competitive proposals. No Solicitation documents are available. Under Statutory Authority 41 U.S.C.253 (g), the Birmingham VA Medical Center intends to procure a multiyear Medivator Advantage Plus Equipment service and maintenance agreement on another that full and open competition basis with Medivators/Minntech Equipment and options/accessories serviced and maintained for the Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center, 700 19th Street South, Birmingham, AL 35233. PARTS AND SERVICE: 1 PLATINUM SERVICE AGREEMENT FOR MEDIVATOR ADVANTAGE PLUS ADV-1007 ENDOSCOPE REPROCESSORS. THIS SERVICE AGREEMENT INCLUDES PREVENTIVE MAINTENANCE, ONE OPERATOR TRAINING PROGRAM (PER CUSTOMER REQUEST) PROVIDED BY A CUSTOMER SUPPORT SPECIALIST, ONE YEAR SUPPLY OF CUSTOMER REPLACEABLE FILTERS (FOR EITHER 14 DAY OR 28 DAY HLD), REMEDIAL SERVICE (LABOR, TRAVEL, & PARTS) IF REQUIRED IN BETWEEN PREVENTIVE MAINTENANCE SERVICE CALLS, AND TELEPHONE TECHNICAL SUPPORT AT NO ADDIIONTAL CHARGE. THIS SERVICE AGREEMENT COVERS THE FOLLOWING ENDOSCOPE REPROCESSORS: ee53353/sn67386828; ee53354/sn67386831; ee53355/sn67386829; ee53356/sn67386825; ee53357/sn67386827; ee53358/sn67386832; ee53359/sn67386826; ee57941/sn70495716; ee57942/sn70495717 This is a notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. No solicitations documents are available and telephone requests will not be honored. However if a firm believes it can meet the requirements it must furnish information about its products and services, as well as references from other customers that are using these products and services, to the contracting officer NLT 04/04/2016 @ 9AM EST. Supporting evidence must be furnished in sufficient detail to demonstrate the ability to comply with the above requirements. Information must be sent to Lynette R. Lane, Contracting Specialist, NCO 7, Birmingham VA Medical Center via email at Lynette.Lane2@va.gov. Responses received will be evaluated; however a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. If no responses are received the contracting specialist will proceed with the sole source procurement from ASP.
