Ave, Ste 632, Eglin AFB FL 32542 Description: This is official notification that the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center, Joint Air to Surface Standoff Missile (JASSM) Program Office intends to solicit and award a sole source contract under the authority of FAR 6.302-1 to Guard Lee, Inc. 723 Benbow Court, Apopka, FL 32703. This acquisition will be a Firm Fixed Price contract for 86 Dummy Air Training Missiles (DATMs). Guard Lee, Inc. has designed and developed the molds to fabricate and build the DATMs and they possess the proprietary drawing package for the trainers. No Government owned technical data package exists to provide to other companies. Therefore, the Government is unable to provide Government property/Government special tooling/special test equipment/technical data packages to any prospective new source. Fulfillment of the supplies listed above requires substantial initial investment and an extended period of preparation for manufacture. Anticipated award of this contract is on or about 15 May 2016. The scope of this contract incorporates: Procure eighty-six (86) Dummy Air Training Missiles (DATMs) as follows: a. Forty-eight (48) Base contract requirements · Eight (8) DATMs shall be shipped to Dyess AFB · Eight (8) DATMs shall be shipped to Ellsworth AFB · Sixteen (16) DATMs shall be shipped to Letterkenny Munitions Center (LMC) · Eight (8) DATMs shall be shipped to Barksdale AFB · Eight (8) DATMs shall be shipped to Minot AFB b. Three (3) Contract Options (Separate CLINs) · Ten (14) for Foreign Military Sales · Twenty-four (24) to be shipped to LMC. For subcontracting opportunities, please contact Tom Wilkes, Guard Lee, Inc. In accordance with FAR 5.203(a), interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement within the response date specified above in order to be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
