Description

The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) intends to solicit and negotiate a Firm Fixed-Price modification to order 0181 awarded under Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA) N00019-11-G-0001 to The Boeing Company (TBC) to provide F/A-18A-D Inner Wing Conversion and Reliability Improvements and updates for Retrofit of Wing Fuel Transfer Manifold in support of Engineering Change Proposal ECP-MDC-F/A-18-00609C1. The supplies and/or services to support the Inner Wing Conversion reliability improvement retrofit efforts may include, design and development, technical directives (accessory changes), O-Level compliance, publications (IETM), logistics product data (provisioning) and wing kits consisting of 116 shipsets (232 total). This acquisition is being pursued on a sole source basis under the statutory authority 10 USC 2304 (C)(1) as implemented by Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1, "Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements."
