- PLEASE NOTE THAT THE INITIAL SOLICITATION NUMBER IS NO LONGER VALID. THE NEW SOLICITATION NUMBER FOR THIS POSTING HAS BEEN CHANGED TO THE FOLLOWING : FA2860-16-R-0014 The 11th Contracting Squadron, wishes to procure services for on-site maintenance and sustainment support on the Integrated Base Defense Security System (IBDSS) equipment at Joint Base Andrews, MD. This will be a 100% set-aside for small businesses. This requirement will result in a firm fixed price contract with one (1) 12-month base year and four (4) 12-month option periods. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 561621 with a small business size standard of $20.5 million. The Government intends to award to the offeror that represents the best overall value to the Government. It is anticipated that the solicitation will be issued electronically on or about 3 March 2016 on the Federal Business Opportunities web page at http://www.fbo.gov. Paper copies will not be available. Once the solicitation is posted, it is incumbent upon the interested parties to review this site frequently for any updates/amendments to any and all documents. All prospective contractors must be registered in the System Administration Management (SAM) database in order to be eligible for award. This notice does not obligate the Government to award a contract nor does it obligate the Government to pay for any bid/proposal preparation costs.
