Description

Award notice: The service described below has been awarded to Waste Management of Iowa Inc. via an emergent justification for other than full and open competition (sole source) IAW FAR 6.302-2Unusual and Compelling Urgency. This procurement has an effective date of 01 April, 2016 and will end 30 November, 2016. The Veterans Affairs Central Iowa Health Care System (VACIHCS) Des Moines, IA has entered into a sole source procurement for the following service; Refuse Disposal and Glass/Plastic Recycling Services located within the VACIHCS. All refuse will be transported and disposed of or recycled in compliance with Federal, State and Local regulation. Refuse Disposal and Glass/Plastic Recycling Services consists of physically collecting and disposing/recycling of refuse on a regularly scheduled basis.
