- SOURCES SOUGHT SYNOPSIS FOR A HAWAII AND GUAM REGIONAL MULTIPLE AWARD ARCHITECT/ENGINEERING SERVICES IDIQ CONTRACT. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS. THIS IS A MARKET RESEARCH TOOL BEING USED TO IDENTIFY POTENTIAL SMALL BUSINESS FIRMS CAPABLE OF PERFORMING THIS CONTRACT IN HAWAII AND GUAM. THE ANTICIPATED PRICE RANGE PER TASK ORDER ON THIS A/E IDIQ IS $3,000 TO $400,000. IT IS ANTICIPATED THAT THE DURATION WILL RANGE ANYWHERE FROM 5 OR 7 OR 10 YEARS INCLUDING BASE AND OPTION YEARS WITH THE CONTRACT TO BE AWARDED APPROXIMATELY AUGUST 2017. THE FOLLOWING IS THE ANTICIPATED GENERAL SCOPE. The successful offerors will provide professional Architect/Engineering (A/E) Services for Government Owned/Leased Facilities. Projects may include a variety of assignments involving the US Coast Guard in Hawaii, Guam, and other areas in the Pacific. Most work will consist of renovations/improvements to existing structures and miscellaneous general construction engineering and architectural services. Facilities include residential and light commericial buildings and their mechanical and electrical systems, site utilities, waterfront facilities, and airports/runways. Additional elements may include: electronic surveillance/security construction, structural inspections, dredging, and safety engineering/construction. Disciplines may include but are not limited to architecture, mechanical, strructural, civil, fire protection, electrical, geotechnical, environmental, and coastal engineering. Services may include but are not limited to: -Assessment of existing conditions -Review of project designs -Analysis of Alternatives -Development of final designs -Recommendations for cost effective alternatives -Studies -Surveying and Mapping -Costruction Inspection -Code of Compliance Evaluations All orders will be solicited on a fair-opportunity basis among the firms, except for limited instances of exceptions to fair opportunity (FAR 16.5) that are approved. It is anticipated from four to five contracts will be awarded approximately. Contractor selection will be in accordance with the Brooks Act.
